Matt Musselman is a trombonist and music copyist based in New York City.
His trombone playing has taken him from studies at The Juilliard School to performing with Feist at Radio City Music Hall to recording with Vince Giordano & The Nighthawks for the soundtrack to the HBO series Boardwalk Empire.
He has also worked extensively as a music copyist, arranging Great American Songbook repertoire for Broadway vocalist Euan Morton, orchestrating Kurt Weill compositions for Weimar cabaret artist Daniel Isengart, transcribing Shanghai shidaiqu songs for regular performances at the Asian neo-noir nightclub The Red Pavilion, and many other music notation projects large and small.
He’s always interested in new musical adventures and he would love to work with you on your next project, either as a trombonist or as a music copyist. Email him at: matt@mattmusselmanmusic.com
