Among Matt’s extensive portfolio, recent projects include arranging and orchestrating for Kim David Smith’s cabaret show Tiergarten, transcribing and arranging for regular shows at the Red Pavilion such as Springtime In Shanghai and Mandarin Mambo, and migrating, editing, and reformatting a substantial part of the music catalog of Redeemer Presbyterian Church.

As a music copyist, Matt has the skillsets you need. He is able to:

  • use all of the major music notation programs (Sibelius, Dorico, Muse Score, Finale)

  • prepare clean, professional looking scores and parts for performance, recording, or publication

  • transcribe complex music from audio with extreme accuracy

  • proofread and edit existing scores and parts

  • arrange or orchestrate existing music for any instrumentation

  • “migrate” music from one program to another (i.e. Finale to Dorico)

  • organize and manage sheet music files for a project using Google Drive

  • meet tight deadlines for urgent projects

  • communicate regularly regarding changes and revisions and the needs of projects evolve
